Welcome Back!
We hope you had a fun and relaxing summer. We are looking forward to another great year. We are very excited to welcome our new full-time TAG teacher, Ashley Rolader, to our team! She will be working with our second, fourth, and fifth grade TAG classes three days a week and will be working on some creativity/critical thinking activities with K-2 students the remaining two days. We will start classes during the second week of school. Students will go to specials with their regular classes, but we will have lunch as a TAG class beginning @11:02-11:06. Recess will be with grade levels with the exception of fifth grade (10:30-11:00).
Monday-Second grade
Tuesday-Fifth grade
Wednesday-First grade
Thursday-Fourth grade
Friday-Third grade
Curriculum Night
We will be hosting a TAG curriculum night on Thursday, September 14th at 5:00 PM in the media center. We will provide a brief overview of the school year and be available to answer any questions that you may have. If you have attended TAG curriculum night in the past, the information will not be new to you, so we completely understand if you’d rather opt out of attending. J
Eco-friendly Notifications and Student Information Forms
Attached, you will find a supply list and a student information form. Please complete and return the information form as soon as possible. Most of our communication is done by email.
Feeling generous?
We would be very grateful for some tubs of white Model Magic, and arts & crafts items (yarn, popsicle sticks, pom poms, felt, foam sheets, toothpicks, straws, etc.). Lastly, if you have any extra shoeboxes, empty cardboard egg cartons, or empty paper towel rolls, we would love to use them for projects. As always, your support means the world to us!

Students will also learn how events from our past are still reflected in current events today.

Who Do You Know?
Do you or does someone you know have any expertise with any of the curriculum units listed above? For example, maybe you are a financial advisor or your sibling is in advertising. We would love to have some speakers come in and talk to our students. If you think you might have a connection, please reach out to your child’s TAG teacher so that we can try to set something up.
